Harvest Festival Vegan Food, Wine and Craft Fair, Hainault Winery

Thanks to Lyn and Michael at Hainault Winery for hosting their first incredible Vegan Food and Craft Fair! It was a beautiful sunny Sunday, and the turn out to the event was fantastic. 

Food, wine, coffee, craft, artisan breads and so much more was on offer, and visitors had a lovely time enjoying lunch overlooking the vineyard.

 

Over $3000 was raised for the animals at Possum Valley thanks to the support of the following:

Happy National Volunteer Week 2025!

 

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our volunteers who support Possum Valley! 

The Sanctuary 100% run by volunteers, who do all the cleaning, feeding, fundraising, transportation, bookkeeping, baking… you name it, volunteers do it!

Autumn in the Valley

 

It’s been an unusually warm autumn this year, with thundery weather rolling in on some evenings and the clouds and lightening providing quite a show as we tend to the animals! 

 

Hibiscus Mutabilis - Rose of Sharon

 

 

The lemon grevilleas and fruit laden lilly pillies are brightening the Sanctuary gardens and providing delicious treats for the wildlife. 

The waterlily pond is also cheerful, with bright blooms and calling frogs aplenty. Both the motorbike and moaning frogs have been seen enjoying the cool, damp retreat. 

We are certainly enjoying these beautiful evenings and making the most of them before the winter rains arrive!
