The Perth Peace Expo was held at the Perth Town Hall on Sunday the 28th of August 2016. The Expo was developed to promote ethical alternatives and compassionate eating. Funds raised at the entries were donated to the three Perth Animal Sanctuaries – Possum Valley, Happy Hooves and Greener Pastures.
The Expo was huge – for six hours people packed into the Town Hall and listened to
inspiring guest speakers, enjoyed cruelty free fare from donuts to golzemes
and purchased ethical items from the many stalls showcasing their animal
friendly wares. The Possum Valley stall had an amazing day – t-shirts
were popular, as were our many handcrafted jewellery items.
We would
like to say a special thank you to all the organisers, in particular Alex Green
and her committed team of volunteers, for producing such an enjoyable and
successful event.
