A Busy Start to Spring at PVAS

Goat Yoga

It’s been a hectic six weeks at Possum Valley. August and September are traditionally our busiest months of the year, with many fundraising events being held at the beginning of Spring.

Goat Yoga

PVAS hosted a Sound Meditation Workshop on August 12, a High Tea at UWA on August 26 and a ‘Spring in the Valley’ Lunch and Tour and a Goat Yoga session on September 10. We will write more about these wonderful events in the coming month.

Sunny Lamb

PVAS sees many new family members, especially orphaned lambs, arriving at this time of the year. One of our 2017 lamb babies is Sunny who came to us at the beginning of September after his mother passed away.

Margaery the Hen came to us at the end of August

We’ve also had some serious illness in the Possum Valley family as Genie the goat battles an infection. We hope Genie will soon be well enough to attend the next session of Goat Yoga.

Finally, we were thrilled to receive a visit from Polly Possum, who was released into the bushland here at PVAS after we helped her recover from a dog attack. She returned in September with her second youngster since release.
