Ingredients:
-150 g grated vegan cheese
-150 g plain flour
-150 g Nuttelex Buttery
-Equivalent of 2 eggs using Orgran Egg Replacer
-Cayenne pepper (to sprinkle)
Method:
-Using your fingertips, rub the Nuttelex Buttery and flour together, before adding in grated cheese and egg replacer.
-Knead lightly into a ball on a floured board.
-Using a rolling pin, roll the ball out to approximately 1cm thick.
-Cut the pastry into strips and lay on an oven tray lined with baking paper.
-Twist the strips to make a coiled pattern before sprinkling with cayenne pepper.
-Bake at 180 C until the tips begin to turn golden.
