Festive Chia Puddings
Looking for something easy, fast and healthy to tide you through the busy holiday season? You can’t go past these quick and easy puddings, ideal for a hot summers day!
Ingredients (makes 2)
- 1 cup of chia seeds
- 2 cups of reduced fat soy milk (or other plant milk of your liking)
- 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup
- cherries
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
Method
- Grab two empty jars with lids, add half a cup of chia and one cup of milk to each jar. Put the lid on, shake well, and leave in the fridge overnight.
- The next day, top the thickened puds with a tablespoon of rice malt syrup and peanut butter, then a small handful of cherries. Best eaten straight from the fridge!

Little Beans Gourmet Weekend Sanctuary Stall
Thank you to everyone who came down to Little Beans Gourmet on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 of November and supported our fundraising stall. The volunteers had a great day, as well as enjoying the incredible vegan zinger burger specials. Thanks to Amanda and the LBG team for supporting the animals!
Twilight Christmas Market
In 2022 we held our very first Christmas Market and we raised over $5,500!

Enjoy an afternoon tour of the Sanctuary with your Valentine, before relaxing with a picnic hamper in the forest at dusk.
Listen to the sounds of Valley at sunset on your strategically placed picnic blanket, while enjoying a range of cruelty free delights.
Tickets are limited so be sure to book soon to avoid disappointment.
Price includes Sanctuary tour, picnic hamper for two - vegan savouries and sweets, juice, water and picnic blanket.
Attendees may BYO alcohol.
Strong closed in shoes, hat and jackets are recommended (the Valley can be cool in the evening).
Gates close at 7.30pm.
