Enjoy an afternoon tour of the Sanctuary with your Valentine, before relaxing with a picnic hamper in the forest at dusk.

Listen to the sounds of Valley at sunset on your strategically placed picnic blanket, while enjoying a range of cruelty free delights.

Tickets are limited so be sure to book soon to avoid disappointment.

Price includes a Sanctuary tour, picnic hamper for two featuring vegan savouries and sweets, juice, water and picnic blanket.

Attendees may BYO alcohol.

Strong, closed in shoes, hat and jackets are recommended (the Valley can be cool in the evening). Gates close at 7.30pm.

Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary is a licensed charity, reliant on the generosity of public donations and its own fundraising efforts. It does not pay any wages or any other benefit to any person, with 100% of funds going directly towards the care of animals.

 

Recipe: Quick Festive Cereal

 

This delicious, quick and easy breakfast is a great start during the holidays. It will carry you through a busy day, and can be made the night before to save extra time!

 Quick Festive Cereal

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of Just Right cereal

- 1 cup of crushed Weet-bix cereal

- 2 cups of soy milk (or other plant based milk)

- 1 cup of fresh fruit (we used leftover cherries and grapes from a Christmas function!)

- 1 teaspoon peanut butter

- 1 teaspoon rice malt syrup

- 1 container of Coyo vegan yogurt

 Method:

- Cover the cereal with the soy milk and leave for ten minutes in the fridge. 

- Once soaked, add the peanut butter, rice malt syrup and Coyo. 

- Sprinkle with fresh fruit and voila! Serves two in under 15 minutes.
