John Curtin Weekend (JCW) is Curtin Volunteers largest community initiative, where volunteers work with WA locals on projects at
regional and metropolitan sites.
Curtin Volunteers helped out at PVAS, laying slabs and foundation work in paddock huts to keep the animals' feet
dry, removing old fencing to prevent animal injury, digging a trench to provide
water to a new enclosure, and undertaking essential weeding work.
