SoulJahs Cafe - Roleystone, WA

By Chris R.

We visited SoulJahs Café and Wellness Centre last week, just five weeks after its grand opening. The Cafe is run by the great folks responsible for Solace Raw Foods and tucked away in a hillside on Brookton Highway, amongst the tall native trees. SoulJahs is only five minutes from Araluen Botanic Park - the perfect positioning to walk off a tasty lunch or cake.

SoulJahs Menu

The time and care given to both the beautiful décor and amazing menu selection at SoulJahs is impressive. We were welcomed by smiling staff as we perused the specials board and the amazing range of alternative teas on offer.

We selected a warm seat with glimpses of the treed valley below and decided on a ‘Sweet Nothings Burger’ - an amazing lentil, brown rice and sweet potato creation, served in a fresh roll with all the salad trimmings -  and a side of steaming hot potato wedges. So many fantastic cruelty free choices on the menu, including kids options. We then shared a vegan waffle to finish. It was decorated with the best vegan ice cream we’ve eaten and copious quantities of fresh strawberries. The coffee is also good and takeaways are available in bright arty cups.

Support establishments working towards a kinder world. You can find SoulJahs on Facebook and drop in for breakfast, lunch or a delicious cake or muffin. Also look out for their wellness events including yoga, meditation, dance and art workshops. When you visit, be sure to say "Hi" to the little girl and owl in their Mural, created by local artist Esti Nagy.
