On Sunday the 10th of April, Possum Valley held a stall at the annual Envirofest at Whiteman Park. Early morning storms cleared to a beautiful sunny day, resulting in good crowds and an excellent opportunity for people to learn about the Valley and its valuable work.

Nibbles and Gertie goats and Noodle the rooster spent the day at the festival, enjoying pats and cuddles and acting as excellent animal advocates for a cruelty free lifestyle.

The plight of roosters was a focus of the stall, with interpretive signage presenting ideas and options to prevent the issues so many roosters face.

Sales of merchandise on the day raised much needed funds to cover the Valley’s veterinary expenses for the month.
