On the 7th of December 2019, we held our second
‘Carols in the Valley’. This important summer fundraiser is also one of
our absolute favourites – December evenings are beautiful in the Valley and
ideal for families to enjoy a night of festive fun.
The sausage sizzle
and massive bake sale were incredibly popular and the face painting was enjoyed
by visitors of all ages.
Our sheep nativity attracted a great deal of
attention and we were so grateful for all the beautiful presents for the
animals placed under the Sanctuary Christmas tree.
Christmas carols were sung
beautifully by Tania Mazzotti Music.
Santa made a guest appearance,
escorting visitors to meet two of his deer. He also gave singing a go,
but he was nowhere near as good as Tanya 😉
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event, including those who baked
and barbecued, set up lights and marquees, painted faces and helped in so many
other ways to make the night such a huge success.
We are already looking forward to next
year’s event!
