On Saturday the 26th of October, we held our
annual fundraiser ‘Flocktoberfest’! This fun event is critical for
raising funds to cover the summer hay costs of over 120 sheep and goats.
This year’s event was held at the Guildford Town Hall, a
fantastic central location close to the train and bus. A range of
delicious loaded dogs, a massive bake sale and a wide selection of both
alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were available to enjoy while rocking to the
incredible Bavarian tunes of The Last Five Coins.
Our silent auction was
a great success with some fantastic donated items ranging from beautiful animal
prints to jewellery.
Thanks to everyone who
purchased tickets, donated items and volunteered – we are so appreciative!
